The weather here in Florida can be tricky, especially in the summer months.  Most evenings, unfortunately, it rains, sometimes even storms, and so planning a photoshoot with the purpose of catching a sunset can be difficult.  What I’ve found to be a pretty spectacular alternative is sunrise, that is, if your client is willing to wake up a little on the early side.  While I will never begrudge a Florida sunset (one of my favorite things in the world), I don’t think words can truly express how beautiful a Florida sunrise can be.  Two very different tones and batches of color, both equally stunning to be honest.  Suffice to say, I was kind of happy when this particular session got rained out for sunset and had to be moved to sunrise, and I think this adorable little family was happy as well!  Spending the morning with their darling daughter under cotton candy skies, watching the waves gently splash her as the bird’s playful cries echoed down a vacant beach; those are mornings you wish would never end.
