I talk a lot about these three being my muses. Having a photographer for a father means that there is constantly a lens in your face. A lot of times it is merely to capture the reality of the everyday, but sometimes we get to work on projects together that feel more than that. I get these things in my head, and I just need to try them out. With the kids leaving me for vacation, I knew I wanted to have a project to work on in their absence, and this was the perfect one. We spent the afternoon together, day before they left, capturing images by the sea, and then I spent the next few days delving into Photoshop to create these watercolor inspired images. I’ve always looked at photography as an artform (as I think we all do), and the best kind of art tells a very personal story. I like to think this particular portfolio accomplishes that.
